!William D. Coleman High School's Old Roof!

William D. Coleman High School roof replacement project completed

November 2012

With the rains beginning to ebb and leading to the onset of the Dry Season in Liberia, the Richards & Coleman Family Foundation (RCFF) commenced renovation projects at the William D. Coleman High School in Clay-Ashland in mid November 2012. The full roofing replacement of the School's facilities has now been completed, which was graciously and generously funded by the Foundation; a long-awaited assistance that the previous Richards & Coleman Family Association had been working towards for a number of years.

With funding already made available for replacing the School's roof at $7,000.00, the Foundation is seeking additional donations to complete the replacement of all Classroom and Office doors and locks at a cost of approximately $2,000.00. Currently, donations are being solicited from all connected to the Richards and Coleman families in Liberia and the Diaspora, as well as all other Clay-Ashlanders and any other well-wishers who would like to assist. Our hope is that we will get the support needed to complete these projects and lend additional assistance to the school's Administration and the City of Clay-Ashland as needed.

The bedrock of a developed Liberia is a well educated population; whatever we can do to assist towards that goal will be a Blessing to our Country. The Ministry of Education, through the Minister, Mrs. Etmonia David Tarpeh, approved and lauded our initiative on this project, making it imperative that we do live up to our promises. Periodic updates will be provided as the project progresses. We are kindly asking all to give whatever you can, as every little bit helps.

Donations can be made online through paypal at the Foundation's website: www.rcff1.org, or by Check or Money Order and mailed to the Foundation (RCFF) at P.O. Box 2293, Montgomery Village, MD 20886. Those wishing to make donations in Liberia may contact Rhonda Richards von Ballmoos directly. Be a Blessing and Be Blessed!
